Announcement of the scoring system and rewards
After several months of testing, bug fixes, and feedback from community members (thanks a lot!), today we are announcing the Drupal Sapiens scoring and rewards system.
How it works
It's very simple: create an account in the Drupal Sapiens community and contribute by creating posts, sharing snippets or simply completing certain milestones to earn pointsπͺ .
The scoreπͺ accumulates and you can then spend it on rewards, such as gift vouchers, training, courses, badges, etc. It's that easy!
What about the level system?
After receiving feedback from community users, it has been decided to remove the level system (which was still in testing). Therefore, now no user will have any level. The score is a private value that is not shared or publicly visible.
What rewards will be added?
Over time, new and very attractive rewards will be added to encourage everyone's participation and to continue sharing knowledge with others. We are working with some partners and suppliers to bring new exclusive rewards; expect to see the following added soon:
- Software License Codes
- Gift vouchers from shops
- Exclusive Badges
- Further...
Check out all the rewards available here.
The score
As I mentioned earlier, the score is a number that is not shared publicly with others, and will only be visible to you if you choose. The score is nothing more than a currency for exchange to obtain rewards, and is only obtained by collaborating on the platform.
Ways to get points
At the moment you can contribute by creating articles and snippets. You can also share your courses and trainings. New ways to earn points will be added soon.
More information and suggestions
This is news that will become obsolete over time as we continue to improve the scoring and rewards system. Get the latest information here.
