Drupal 11 now has a release date

So, it turns out that the community behind Drupal has been working hard on the codebase, and they are making impressive progress. The best of all? Drupal 11 will be based on Symfony 7 and jQuery 4 ! That means cooler technology and even more useful features!
Now, we know you're eager to get your hands on Drupal 11, but there are a few things to figure out before we officially launch it. For example, they are putting the finishing touches on support for PHPUnit 10 .
But what happens in the meantime? Well, to keep you excited and prepared, they are releasing Drupal 11.0.0-alpha1 next week. Yes, you heard right! In addition, we are also going to have beta 1 of Drupal 10.3.0. So, get ready to experience some amazing new features and start playing with Drupal 11 sooner than you expected!

Two dates, two launch opportunities
We all want Drupal 11 to be the best of the best. That is why two different dates are being considered for the official launch of Drupal 11. Mark it on your calendar: week of July 29 , or week of December 9, 2024. Both dates are being considered depending on the contribution, the progress and unlocking of current blocking issues for their release.
